With a view to addressing the present challenges in the unemployment problems prevailing in the liberalised, privatised, and globalised economy, and also to creating a new entrepreneurial trend and culture in the State of Kerala, the Department of Industries, Government of Kerala, has launched Entrepreneurship Development Clubs in Colleges. The major objective of the club is to motivate the entrepreneurship development clubs in colleges. The major objective of the club is to motivate the members to venture into industrial activity to change the negative mindset and attitude prevailing in the state, on initiative or by taking up entrepreneurship as a career, to educate the members on various incentives offered by various financial agencies and to guide the members on how to formulate project ideas and plans.
ED Club started functioning in the year 2003 in the College and carried out some activities, but could not continue due to paucity of funds.
