ഭാഷയും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും: കേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിൽ തുളു വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികൾ

Abstract
മനുഷ്യ സ്വത്വത്തിന്റെയും സാംസ്കാരിക പൈതൃകത്തിന്റെയും ഒരു പ്രധാന ഭാഗമാണ് ഭാഷ. അത് അവരുടെ പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളും വിശ്വാസങ്ങളും വികാരങ്ങളും പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു മാധ്യമമായി കൂടി വർത്തിക്കുന്നു. കർണ്ണാടകയിലെയും കേരളത്തിലെയും ചില പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ കൂടുതലായി തുളു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദ്രാവിഡ വിഭാഗങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. സമ്പന്നമായ ചരിത്രവും സാംസ്കാരിക പ്രാധാന്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും തുളു ഭാഷ ചില സാമൂഹിക, സാമ്പത്തിക, രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഘടകങ്ങൾ കാരണം തുളു വംശനാശ ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്നു. ഉയർന്ന സാക്ഷരതാ നിരക്കിൻ്റെ പേരിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഭാഷാപരവും സാംസ്കാരികവുമായ വൈവിധ്യത്തിൽ കാസർഗോഡ് പോലുള്ള വടക്കൻ ജില്ലകളിലെ തുളു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. സമ്പന്നമായ സാംസ്കാരിക പൈതൃകം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും, തുളു വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ കേരളത്തിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിൽ കാര്യമായ വെല്ലുവിളികൾ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നു. തുളു വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളും വെല്ലുവിളികൾ നേരിടാനുള്ള നടപടികളും അതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട നയപരിഷ്കാരങ്ങളും ഈ പ്രബന്ധം പര്യവേക്ഷണം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പഠനങ്ങളുടെ സമഗ്രമായ അവലോകനത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഭാഷാ തടസ്സങ്ങൾ, സാംസ്കാരിക അന്യവൽക്കരണം, സാമൂഹിക-സാമ്പത്തിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രധാന വെല്ലുവിളികൾ ഗവേഷക മനസിലാക്കുന്നു. തുളു ഭാഷയെ വ്യവഹാരപരമായി അംഗീകാരത്തത് മൂലം ഈ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ വഷളാക്കുന്നു. ഇത് കുട്ടികളുടെ അക്കാദമിക് നിലവാരത്തിലെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾക്കും സാംസ്കാരിക ഉന്നമനത്തിൻ്റെ ക്രമാനുഗതമായ ശോഷണത്തിനും കാരണമാകുന്നു. കൂടാതെ, എട്ടാം ഷെഡ്യൂളിൽ തുളു ഭാഷയെ അംഗീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം ഈ പ്രബന്ധം എടുത്തുകാണിക്കുന്നു. സ്കൂളുകളിൽ തുളു ഐച്ഛിക ഭാഷയായി അവതരിപ്പിക്കുക, ദ്വിഭാഷാ അധ്യാപന വിഭവങ്ങൾ വികസിപ്പിക്കുക, പാഠ്യപദ്ധതിയിൽ തുളു സംസ്കാരം സമന്വയിപ്പിക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ സമഗ്ര വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ നയങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യകതയെ ഉപസംഹാരം അടിവരയിടുന്നു. ഈ വിടവുകൾ പരിഹരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, ഭാഷാ വൈവിധ്യത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും കേരളത്തിലെ തുളു വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ സ്വത്വം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കൂടുതൽ സമത്വവും സാംസ്കാരിക സെൻസിറ്റീവുമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ചട്ടക്കൂടിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രബന്ധം വാദിക്കുന്നു. ഭാഷാ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ സാമൂഹിക ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തലും ഇടപടലുകളും അക്കാദമിക് വിജയവും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള നയ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരിഷ്കരണങ്ങൾക്ക് സംഭാവന നൽകുക എന്നതാണ് ഈ പ്രബന്ധം ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്.
