Abstract
നിലവിലെ ഭിന്നശേഷി അവകാശ നിയമപ്രകാരം 21 തരം ഭിന്നശേഷി വിഭാഗങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്. അതിൽ കാഴ്ചാപരിമിതി നേരിടുന്നവരുടെ അനുഭവങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് ഈ പഠനം തയാറാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. കാഴ്ചയുടെ പരിമിതികൾ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവരുടെ അനുഭവങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലിംഗഭേദം എന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയ സംവർഗം പ്രധാനമാകുന്നു. എന്ന പരികല്പയിലാണ് ഈ പഠനം നടക്കുന്നത്. ആണധികാരസമൂഹത്തിൽ ഭിന്നശേഷിയിൽപെടുന്നവർ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന വിവേചനങ്ങളെ വിശകലനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഈ പ്രബന്ധം തയാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ആദ്യഭാഗത്ത് ഭിന്നശേഷിത്വത്തെകുറിച്ചും അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും സാമാന്യമായി വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു. കാഴ്ചാപരിമിതരുടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും ജീവിതസാഹചര്യങ്ങളുമാണ് പഠനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഥമാകരം. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, തൊഴിൽ, കുടുംബം തുടങ്ങിയ വ്യവഹാരങ്ങളിൽ കാഴ്ചാപരിമിതരായവർ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സ്ത്രീകൾ വിവേചനം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ എന്ന് കണ്ടെത്താനാണ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. ആണധികാരപ്രത്യയശാസ്ത്രം ഈ വ്യവഹാരങ്ങളിലെ കാഴ്ചാപരിമിതരുടെ അനുഭവത്തെ നിർണയിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ എന്നാണ് ഈ പ്രബന്ധത്തിൽ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നത്. വ്യക്തിപരവും സാമൂഹികവുമായ ജീവിതത്തെ പരിവർത്തനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിൽ ഉൾച്ചേർക്കൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ചെലുത്തിയ സ്വാധീനത്തെക്കൂടി ഇതിൽ പരിഗണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
