REPORT OF THE FOLKLORE CLUB
ACTIVITY DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR -2020-2021
Folklore club conducted a Folk Songs Programme at college Open auditoriumon 09th March 2021. Folk songs sung orally speak of the stories behind different regions of Kerala. To promote the folk songs and also in the aim of helping theStudents learns more about the Folk .College wise principal Smt. Prassana P K inaugurated the programme. The band ‘Vayali’, with a group of talented musicians led by VinodNambiar, presented bamboo music with indigenous percussion instruments on 9th March2021. On the same day Our students also performed folk song (nadanpattu).The impressive folk songs and tribal dance to give the audience some insight into Kerala’s rich folk tradition.
